Official 2.1 vs. Beta 2.1

Are there any differences between the official 2.1 release vs. the beta? I installed the beta months ago and I am wondering if I need to upgrade to the official release.

I tried updating to the new version and it said up to date. It appears that both versions are the same.

The official would be based off the beta version...they are essentially the same with the official having less bugs than the beta
