FINALLY!!!
Was worried I would have to sit outside best buy on black friday SANS acrhos tablet. Lets just hope we will be able to get them within a week.
 
Scott over at HotMP3 says hes going to email me when he has them in his hands, and will try his best to get it to me (in the states) before T-day holiday. Now hopefully ill get to play with it while waiting outside Bestbuy friday morn. lol
 
Anyone that already has the Archos 70 .... How many memory has it, 256Mb,512Mb or 1Gb?
Also, is the camera VGA or 1.3 M pixel? Is the quality of the camera good?

70 has:

a. 256mb ram
b. About 200mb for app storage
c. 8gb internal flash storage
d. Micro sd slot
 
I'm hoping they put them up for sale tonight at midnight, but we'll see. I'm also cringing at the thought of them not putting the 250GB version up, since they just said that the 70 and 101 would be up and didn't specify all sizes.
 
Yea, ill be checking 12 Eastern time myself.
West coast can suck for things that go on sale early mornings like 6am.
Sold out by the time i get up.
 
Gotta say, I saw/played with the Galaxy Tab today. Really nice, too expensive, but really nice. Full market, connected to my DroidX via wifi, balanced height/width ratio (not crazy about the widescreen as I don't watch movies/videos and don't plan to). HOWEVER, all that being said, I'm probably going to wait until they come to Best Buy so i can get 18 months interest free.

They need to post that on all of their facebook and twitter accounts. I'm sitting here refreshing the page hoping to order mine and then I read this. Get your shit together Archos, seriously.
 
The 20th is a Saturday. How much you wanna bet it doesn't happen. Why do i get the feeling that I wont have this device in my hands before Christmas?
 
I'm done waiting for Archos 101 and 70, I just purchased 2 Viewsonic 10 inch tablets from Sears. So far, I have been very happy with my new Viewsonic which comes with a Tegra 2 CPU and has multi-touch.

I think I'll be buying 2 more Viewsonic tablets later this weekend if I can find some at my local Sears stores.
