Never notice the difference unless it's 5 or 600 mb or bigger

Just installed the new update on my sprint note 8? What did it do. All it say is stability control pretty mich

Probably just a few bug fixes and security patches. This is the norm now rather than leaving vulnerabilities unpatched for months until a major release.

(Note 8 US - Sprint) Today, I just pulled down and installed a new software update. The version I installed is N950USQU3BRA6/N950UOYN3BRA6/N950USQU3BRA6. After reading up on this, I think this update will also prevent you from rooting your phone (for now). Interesting. I just got mine today and it has a slightly different build number (N950USQU3BRA5). I saw another where the last number was 8. Any idea what that is about?

Probably carrier or regional difference.

I thought I read somewhere yesterday that Samsung was also halting the Note 8 Oreo update. Hope I misread that or remembering wrong.
