Official Twitter app issue

I just did my first re-tweet and now whenever I refresh my tweets, I get a ripping/tearing section between the tweet I retweeted and my other tweets. I can click on the "tear" section and then it goes away. But it comes back when I refresh. Don't laugh but it looks similar to this:

I'm thinking it's supposed to be this way but how do I stop it?

Can't help you, but I can say that I much prefer tweet caster. It's free, give it a shot.
