Official Twitter App - Retweet Question

Is it possible to Retweet and add your own comment using the official Twitter app?

I have read the comments on the market and AppBrain and some people have made reference to retweeting and adding a comment to the retweet.

If this is possible, could somebody tell me how?!

Cheers for the replay! I don't seem to be able to do this, so I assume it's still not possible!

You can! Although, it's a work around, I believe you have to select the "share" option on the tweet you want to retweet (and not the "retweet" option), then select the twitter app, and it should let you edit before posting! You have to add the "RT" to it though, and delete some other junk it adds automatically.

The first one is strictly just for retweeting while the second one adds more features. As the user above said, you need to select the share option on the tweet you want to RT once you've downloaded either one of these apps.

Just for simple tweet editing, you don't need any additional app. Just select the official twitter app you're using from the list after selecting "share".

However as you said, these apps offer additional goodies.
