Offline games not running offline

NFS No Limits is by Electronic Arts, and Modern Combat 5 is by Gameloft. Well I know with both of those publishers, their games can only be played online, i.e. connected to the internet. I can't see anything in the Play Store myself that states otherwise, especially with things like "Contains ads" and/or "In-app purchases", on all those games.

but they mustn't categorize false.

Where exactly are you seeing that they're categorised as "offline" in the Play Store? If necessary post a screen-shot or something. Because I'm not seeing that at all, and I know that games I've tried from those above mentioned publishers, must be played online.

Why ? there is no better explanation?

Because possibly you're looking at something that I can't see at all, and AFAIK isn't there. I don't even know that the Play Store has an "offline category". This is on my tablet, Play Store Hong Kong. Perhaps someone else can confirm, yay or nay?

If you do see a problem with the way a game is categorised, your best bet might be to contact the publishers concerned and enquire about it, as they'll be the only ones who can possibly fix it.

I just did, and didn't see "Nfs no limits, wgt golf, legacy, modern combat 5" at all. In fact searching for "offline" brings up mostly small casual type games, things like, solitaire, sudoku, bubble shooters, tetris clones, flappy bird, etc. I know with things like Gameloft, EA, etc, usually their games won't even run if they can't connect to the servers.

"offline" in the Play Store does seem to be mostly small casual type games.
