ok google stopped working.

This morning the phone made me log on to my account. I don't know why it was ever logged off and when I logged on OK Google Assistant stop listening. Only a long press of the center bottom button will wake it up to listen.
 
It probably installed a system upgrade and rebooted overnight. You may have to re-enable assistant to be listening all the time.
