Help "OK Google" using Skype for calls

Suddenly, when I say "OK Google, call home" I noticed that it was using Skype to make the call. It has previously always gone to the regular phone app. I couldn't find a way to change this behaviour. Even if I removed all the defaults, it would just give me a choice of phone or Skype, but my choice wouldn't stick.
Finally I uninstalled and reinstalled Skype, and this seems to have fixed the problem for now, but I'm wondering if it might happen again, and if so how do you control which app "OK Google" will use?

The first time you perform an action, there's a popup box asking which app you want to use as the default, there should be a check box there which says something along the lines of "Don't ask again", or "Make Default" or similar. You're not getting that?

What phone do you have?

Nexus5 Lollipop
What you say is true for most actions, but doesn't seem to apply to "OK Google" when making a call. If you get rid of all the defaults, you will be asked what you want to use, with a different kind of dialog box, but there is no check box for setting the default.

Very odd.

I don't use Google Now/Voice commands, but I would have thought clearing the defaults would allow you to set a default again.

I'll move this to the Nexus 5 forum to see if the guys there can assist.

I would believe that in some moment you accidentally setted Skype as default app for calls. Just go to settings, apps, look for the app and reset defaults. Then try making a call and set Phone app as default.
