Help "OK Google"

So for some reason all of a sudden I can't get the "OK google" voice command to work. I'm running stock KitKat and I've tried it in both the LG ui and Nova Launcher. Has anyone else had this trouble? Any ideas on how to fix would be great, thanks in advance.

Have you checked to make sure "OK Google" hasn't been accidentally disabled? (I'm assuming that it was working before.) Go to Settings > Language & input > Voice Search > "Ok Google" Detection. Check the boxes as appropriate. If everything appears correct, it's possible that you may have to retrain the voice model. HTH

I had the same problem, turned out it was a stock LG app called "On Screen Phone" that I had to disable. All is good now.

You can turn it off by going to Settings> Accessibility>On Screen Phone and hit the toggle to disable it.

Hope this helps you, being able to activate Google Now by voice from ANYWHERE is awesome
