Transitioned from a ROMed rooted, and themed HTC Inc to the LG Spectrum, last week. Got the ICS update, everything fine. Already had Titanium Back up loaded but non functional without root. Did this root

and it went fine, rebooted came up, no problems. Ran TiBU, and did a full backup. Then removed a couple of bloatwares such as NFL, and Golf 2 and the like. TiBU crashed at one point, then restarted, and crashed again. Seemed fine otherwise. Reboot phone, now will on go to LG screen and nothing else. Can get to download mode, and nothing else but what the hell happened TiBU bricked the phone???? So how do I fix this?

Welcome to the forums! :)

Did you try to pull the battery out for 60 seconds?

What apps did you remove?

Did you turn on USB debugging in the course of using or rooting your phone?

Did you remove the apps or freeze them?

I am having the same issue myself. I have done a battery pull and a hard reset twice to try to alleviate the problem. I froze apps like Blockbuster and VZ Navigator, just to keep them from using resources. My real mistake was that I uninstalled Hot Pursuit and Let's Golf 2.

I don't think that I turned on USB debugging. I already did a hard reset once due to having a boot issue when I tried to restore the previous Android ID in Tibu.

None of those apps right there will effect the phone. i have all of them deleated already..just avoid deleting Google Books, Google Music, Google Video that is where theres something tied to security if im remembering right. But you are able to freeze them if you want

Those were the only two apps that I removed. Anything else was frozen. I have tried hard resetting a few more times and I still am stuck at the LG screen. Without CWM and its ability to flash a ROM or a nandroid backup, do I have any other options to resolve this?

Flash zv7 cab file. It will get yea booting again

That sounds great! Unfortunately, I am basically a script kiddie at this stuff. Is that something that need to be done using adb? (Which I've never used) I honestly don't know where to start. If you can point me in the direction of documentation and the cab file, then I'll try to get the rest done myself.

Google books and Google movies were 2 of the ones I deleted. I had removed all of theses from the HTC without issues. I guess they really wany you to have that crap! LOL

Thank you for that link! The KP500 Tool is giving me the following prompt:

Version<SW version> <Ex: V10G_04>:

What should I put for that prompt? I am flashing the ICS 7.15 cab file.

Edit: Nevermind, I'll have to learn to read the directions properly...whoops

WooHoo, Mine is back as well. Excellent work for all those who have made these kinds of access and repair possible!!:congrats:
