ok, what's going on with ics google voice search ?

I say "call so and so" and it completely ignores my contact list and tries calling people who show up in a web search ? And when i say "text so and so" it opens a text with "to" empty and "so and so" as the message body ?

No one else is talking about this so I assume its a problem with me >?
 
If you've have recently updated your software, it removes the universal search option and now only searches the Web, not your phone (or the contacts on it). It has to do with the lost of a patent lawsuit against apple I think. Sux.
 
Oh man, that makes perfect sense. I guess it was an ota update because I never did anything. So I really need to have both svoice and google search very close and handy.

Is there a way to re-enable the default choice when I double tap the home button ? So every time i want to search i get the choice of the 2 ?
