Okay google sometimes doesn't respond

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge the Okay Google does not respond on several occasions Ive called for 5 times and he hasn't responded I had to actually pick up the phone and turn the screen on. Okay Google was supposed to respond on any page phone on or off anybody have any suggestions?

I have the same issue. Only responds on home page when it is supposed to respond on ANY page.

It works when the screen is locked but not when the phone is in sleep mode.

P.S: mine is not a S7
