Hey guys, I can use your help. Right now I'm with Sprint using the Evo 4G since last year, buty wanting to make the change over to Verizon. I know I need to do this before the 7th to avoid the tiered data plans as currently I burn up aroud 5 gigs a month. With the few minutes I use a month it will only cost me another $10 to be on a much faster 4G network.
What I need help with is what and where to purchase. It sounds like Costco is probably the best place since I'm not really thrilled with the phones that are currently avaiable on Verizon. This isn't meant to be a knock, I just realize that there are better phones just around the corner (as is always the case).
If there wasn't the tiered data coming along, I'd just wait until a phone I want showed up. I'd really like to get the Galaxy S2, but that doesn't seem feasible without using the Costco 90 day return policy. Which I'd hate to do, but I really don't want to settle for something less than I really want.
So the questions really are.
Is Costco the place to go and can they port my number for me?
Which of these current phones would you recommend? The Droid Charge, Thunderbolt or the Revolution?
Thanks for your time, Jimmy
