Okay Verizon guys, I need your advice...

Hey guys, I can use your help. Right now I'm with Sprint using the Evo 4G since last year, buty wanting to make the change over to Verizon. I know I need to do this before the 7th to avoid the tiered data plans as currently I burn up aroud 5 gigs a month. With the few minutes I use a month it will only cost me another $10 to be on a much faster 4G network.

What I need help with is what and where to purchase. It sounds like Costco is probably the best place since I'm not really thrilled with the phones that are currently avaiable on Verizon. This isn't meant to be a knock, I just realize that there are better phones just around the corner (as is always the case).

If there wasn't the tiered data coming along, I'd just wait until a phone I want showed up. I'd really like to get the Galaxy S2, but that doesn't seem feasible without using the Costco 90 day return policy. Which I'd hate to do, but I really don't want to settle for something less than I really want.

So the questions really are.

Is Costco the place to go and can they port my number for me?

Which of these current phones would you recommend? The Droid Charge, Thunderbolt or the Revolution?

Thanks for your time, Jimmy

No experience with Costco but...

Droid Charge - Better battery life than the other two and amazing screen
Thunderbolt - Best UI of the three and solid build quality
Revolution - Very average I think

I'd go with the Charge first and if you hate it, trade it back in for the TB.

Yes, they can port your number.

TB will be closest to what you have now. Charge uses TouchWiz (seems a lot of people hate it but I don't mind it). I couldn't stand the Revolution when I played with it.

I think the Charge is the best one out of the 3 then the Thunderbolt. I am pretty sure the Bionic should hit within the next 90 days so you could probably return it for that. Moto is still saying it should hit this summer so don't get your hopes up on that if you are interested at all but its a possibility.

Cool, thanks for the responses guys! I think you guys are right, the Charge is probably the best of the three. Personally I don't care for the looks of the Charge, but it does look like it's the best of the three.A few more days and my etf will drop another notch and I c an pick up a phone just after the holiday.

Thanks again for the advie, Jimmy
