Hi. i am an older gentleman thus the title ( old dog).just got a coby mid7012 for xmas so any help i receive setting it up will be appreciated

Congrats on the new Coby Mid and welcome to Android Forums. We have support areas for some of the Coby's but I don't see your particular device. You might want to check in with Coby users anyway...
