Old guy new to rooting/flashing

Greetings everyone,

Been retired for nearly 12 years now. Bought my first cellphone (Samsung Intercept on Virgin Mobile) about a year ago. Used that until December when I upgraded to the Motorola Triumph. We also have 2 Optimus V's in the family. Our three Androids are integrated with an XLink Bluetooth Gateway and Panasonic 6 extension cordless phone system for around the house coverage.

I recently rooted and flashed one of the Optimus handsets. Have been lurking these forums for a few weeks now and decided to register and contribute if possible. I've been very happy with the Triumph and Optimus phones. Rooting and flashing the Optimus has been a great learning experience.

I'm looking forward to interfacing with the community.
