I need to retreive old messages that were delected by someone else on my phone

Depending on whether the voicemails are downloaded to your device or stay on your providers servers you may be lucky.
If they are downloaded to your device, go to the top of your voicemails and look for inbox. Tap that and select 'deleted items'; or something similar. In there should be a list of your deleted messages.
Unfortunately, if your voicemails stay on your providers servers, once the old messages are gone they're gone.
