OLED friendly navigation scheme - Maps

Hello, does anybody know how to set maps to an OLED friendly navigation scheme.
Means: lower LED usage due to black background or screen off when no driver action is needed.
'Here' is already in a dark mode but it seems it does not get access to contacts.

I have passed feedback to Google several times asking if they could have a night mode toggle on google maps as i also find that a dark theme lets battery last longer on an OLED phone. So far they have not even acknowledged it.

I use Waze. You can set it to night mode all the time if you want.

yeah i have started using waze, think i prefer how the maps look in google maps but prefer the waze app.

Something like this?

Not only is it easier on AMOLED screens, I find it's much easier on my eyes at night.
