Do you have toggles for these in your quick settings (when you pull down the notification slide)?
If so, are you using a lockscreen? And can you toggle these without unlocking the phone (just wake the screen, then slide down and press the button)? Some phones let you do this, and if yours does then it could happen in your pocket by accident: something wakes the screen (notification, power button is touched) then the screen rubs against your leg and the buttons get pressed.
