just like the title says, there is an apk that lets you root your Intercept in one click, as well as unroot.

this applications includes permanent rooting, the option of un-rooting and the install of cm01 recovery flasher. (if you want to backup your phone and delete bloatware, as well as install custom ROMs)

make sure to charge the battery before running the app. also, it isn't necessary to download Superuser once you're rooted. Superuser seems to remove root rights from my phone a while after i update the su binary. applications that require rooting run just fine without asking Superuser permissions.

Hi I rooted using one click method and I know it worked cuz I got options to install cmo1 recovery.
Question I can't connect to my pc cuz won't recognize my phone.... so is there rom that I can download from the market and what is recommended for intercept..

go to 'Forum' and search under the Intercept Development thread. all ROMs available for flashing will be there.

there isn't one i can't exactly recommend, but if you want a bit of speed to your phone, try this:
[ROM] [EC07] [DL05] StockROM on Crack (9.0 MFLOPS!)

same stock ROM, just more speed. works like a charm.
there's more things to search there, just keep looking around, read carefully, and just have fun flashing stuff to your phone. remember to be careful when flashing anything.

oh crap i didn't notice that you said your PC doesn't read your phone.
i get lucky sometimes, but try visiting the link above and search the forums. basically all it takes is just downloading the file somewhere in your SD card and flash via recovery, following the instructions the developer give you.

you don't download ROMs from the Market, just basically from developer forums.
