Proud owner of a new One V (all black).
Long story short I renewed my contract about 2 months ago and tried the BB 9790. I came from owning a Desire which at the time was giving me issues and thought why not give the BB world a try. It is a nice system but the screen size and lack of apps is something that I just couldn't get use to.
I sold the 9790 at a steal of a price as the going rate for a used one (used, even 2 months old, BBs are a tough sell). Then covered the difference out of my empty wallet to buy the HTC One V out-right. Swapped SIM card, installed my Lexar 32GB class 10 and here I am. Back in the land of freedom ;-)
It was about 50% charged when I got it but gave it a full charge when I got home yesterday at about 12pm. Mild use so far; 2 calls, a photo (sending to FB), some social feed posts, 3 txts, also including some configuring and about 40min of music on the speaker I'm at 70% 23 hrs later. That's freakin amazing.
Definitely a good buy from what I've experienced so far.
