Help One X Button lights at bottom of screen

Hi hope you can help. I recently smashed my screen and had to order an
OEM replacement (a task within itself, which I wont go into).

Having re-assembled the phone with the new screen I've noticed that the
three lights under the buttons are quite faint on the 'home' and 'right hand'
button, and non existent on the 'back' button.

After inspecting my old screen I noticed that there are three small tear
drop shaped clear stickers with a small pillar at the tail of the tear drop,
which must transport the light from the LED's to the buttons.

Unfortunately when trying to remove these from my old screen to the new
I broke the pillars off two of them.

Does anyone know where I can get some of these light stickers from?

I'd take it to, or send it in, to a reputable tech for repair.

But you sound like you need to do it yourself, so I Googled around and found many HTC One X replacement parts outlets on the internet. Here's just one:

Search around and make up your mind as to which one has the parts you need and most importantly which one is rated as reliable, etc. ;)
 
Brilliant thanks mate, I've just discovered (from reviewing your link) that the part I
need is called a Light Guide Plate or LGP. Unfortunately the website you suggested
doesn't seem to sell just the LGP, but I have e-mailed them and hopefully they will be
able to supply me with one.

Grrr I wish I had found this website before I bought my new screen.
 
Grrr, had an email back from 'parts for repair' but unfortunately they do not sell the light
plate guide as a separate part.

So if anyone knows where I can get one from I would be grateful if you could let me know :-)
 
Result! Found a UK company that can supply me with the LGP.

They're called replace base co uk. Great service and support too.
