One X Lag

Hi there, Anyone else suffering from terrible lag?

The phone isn't responsive at all and its getting really annoying now. Its nothing to do with the touch screen, definitely software related.

Such a shame for such a powerful phone.

I had the same complaints until I installed CleanROM. You shouldn't have to install a custom ROM on your phone to make it work like you like, but.... that's where we are.

Most (if not all) traces of lag are gone in the 2.17.xxx.x update by all accounts.

I agree with this, when the update to android 4.0.4 and HTC sense 4.1 is on the phone its noticeable better.

If your carrier isn't providing the update yet you could always turn off transition animation in developer options, that will help a bit in the meantime.

What network are you with BTW?

Ah i shall give that a go! Still waiting for the update on an unlocked vodafone handset with an o2 sim, so i'm assuming it'll be the vodafone update i'm waiting on.

Yeah, not sure if you have to wait for Vodafone or O2 but my mum got her update about a week ago and she's on O2.

I just found this so not long.

So whoever you have to wait for it shouldn't be long.
