Help One X, part of screen not responding

Part of my screen is not responding. This is even after a factory reset. I've had this phone for more than a year so my warranty is expired. What are my solutions, if any, to fix this?

Assuming that it IS a response problem (looking at a picture doesn't leave a blank white band across the middle of the picture), the digitizer is bad, or some of the wires connecting it are, or a connector came loose. Unless you're comfortable opening cellphones and working on them (and most inexperienced people who try to save some money by doing their own repairs end up paying more for the damage they cause than they would have saved), bring it in to have it repaired.
