OnePlus One fastboot feature vs. Nexus 5

That is a very speedy boot from the OnePlus One, but with how rarely I (and most people) reboot the phone it would be low on my feature list when buying.

I've only had my nexus 5 for a few months so I'm not going to be throwing it away for one of these just yet but if they continue to grow and develop when I'm due for an upgrade I hope they're still around and doing cool things.

So how do you root it? Are they going to make us wait 30 seconds for Chainfire to root it? An unrooted CM is hard to imagine.
