OnePlus One won't connect to PC in any capacity, only charge.

Hello Guys,
OPO is not being recognized when I connect it to my PC via the included USB cable, but it gets charged when connected. USB got detected before until the phone was updated. I have attempted installing the official drivers, I have configured the phones USB connect settings. Nothing works. Also when I'm in developer options and try to change the 'Select USB Configuration' it is set to charging, but whenever I click any other option it won't change, or will do so after pressing it many times. It's incredibly annoying. Even when changed, I see no connection to my PC. I've even tried restoring the phone to stock numerous times to no avail.

Any help would be very welcome.

1. can you pull down from top to bottom when it is connected and unlocked (screen)? it may show you "usb for charging" or so... click it and choose "file transfer". it should then appear to your computer. if you dont see the charging then:

2. go to the developer options in settings (you have to enable it by clicking build number few times (5-10, dont remember). then you see a new option in settings. click it and choose "usb config.." or something like that. Changed it to mtp. then your phone should appear to your computer.
