I'm in the UK on Tesco Mobile, and just went into the settings on the Samsung Members app and updated to the One UI, as a bonus I now also have the second Galaxy S8 Android Pie beta G955FXXU4ZSAC as well

To be honest I haven't really had a good look at it yet apart from setting up my bluetooth headphones which are working well

I've not messed with it too much yet.

Things I have noticed:
  • The first beta release lost my WiFi settings, (then updated some apps, thanks!)
  • New icons are not too bad, (although the phone icon now looks a letter "c")
  • Need to work out how to get apps back to full screen,
  • The recent apps button is now far superior to what it use to be - with some sort of recent apps icon shortcuts?? Not sure yet.
  • I have Google Now bugging me to train it to voice unlock - I say no thanks, minutes later it is back!!
  • Also Samsung health is bugging me for steps, except when you click on it you need to set it up - blocked it now as I don't use it,
  • The new quick access menu setup is quite cool,
  • The full settings menu is nicely laid out,
  • So far only noticed 1 new app from Samsung which is LinkedIn.

Got to say I'm loving the new nav button settings, having them sit just on the edge of the screen with a simply swipe up to active without the buttons actually appearing is great. Having a quick settings button to hit so as to return to the default settings is also a nice touch.

Split screen has changed a lot. This is a feature I use on and off and it was always a little clunky. Well it's a little more streamlined. However ultimately still the same clunky feel once active. Still room for improvement then.
