Only 1 text tone for everyone? Noooooooo. Help!!!

Hi, I am new to droid, i love it. ONLY 1 PROBLEM.
You can set certain ringtones for certain callers which I love. Lets me know when my boyfriend is calling or my mom which determines if i pick up or not.
However, you cannot set special text tones, every person that texts you has the same text tone.
I dont like that.
Is there an app i can download that will let me give each contact their own special text tone or is there a geek/genius here that can help me?
OR AM I STUCK?

I'm in same boat as you as idk some of the stupid reason why developer haven't implemented these yet in Android. I mean its not rocket science since they are in WM/iOS as they are old idea. What Google wants is you download BS app so they can feed useless ad to get function which is virtually implemented elsewhere.

Watch now some fanboy aka iPhoney run away comes along with jokery Android device trying to defend it lol even when they know nothing about AOSP.

U will have to get handscent or gosms(I use this) it allows for individual notification tones for calls and text may wanna also grab ringtone editor

GoSMS (as mentioned above) is a very good, professional and feature rich stock SMS replacement. It is highly customisable and yup allows you to assign different tones to callers and groups.

The real power of Android over ios etc is not what a stock 'droid gives you but what you can do to it "aftermarket"
