Only the included charger and cable charge properly?

When I charge the Moto X4 with the included charger and cable, it charges properly, including TurboPower high speed charging.

But when using any other charger or cable, it does not charge properly, or charge at all.

What can be the reason for this problem?

Are those other chargers compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge? Or at least good quality two amp capable, and not cheapo?

Unknown. The other plug came with an older phone. The cables were ordinary USB-C cables.

I use the stock X4 charger but always make sure to get USB-C cables rated for 3 amps. Charging time is identical to using the packaged cable.

Like others said, you need fast-charging compatible charger and cable so more current can be pumped to the device.

Some phones like Oppo use special micro-USB port with additional pin so their phones only fast-charge with their cables and chargers.
