Anyone have any idea, what type of android API for me to be able to open an Electric Gate through the mobile, an application that is in development

How does the electric gate control work, is it IR or RF, like it uses a remote zapper or an RF tag something? Because almost certainly you're going to need a hardware interface to your Android device, so it can send the "open" or "close" signals to the gate. If the gate is IR controlled, possibly you could use an IR blaster?

There are phones that have a built-in IR blaster.

Although there's nothing stopping you from developing your own IR app. Sounds like a fun project!

That all depends on what type of electrical gate it is. Most gates has a code that's sent from a phone number monitor connection in the gate system like the one that's used on my job. (Example) If I want to enter the property via parking entrance I have to press my personal 5 digit code that will ring my phone from the phone number connected to that gate system. The security monitor identify my personal code and send it to my device, I then press a sequence of numbers to open the gate from my device. Then there are phone's with infrared system built into them that can be used like a remote control. So depends on what type of gate system you're talking about.
