I am not able to load *.exr image format in browser in Android devices. An example of website with such image is jeri.io. I wonder if there is a solution for this issue.

An .exr file is hardly a typical image file type so it's not surprising to have a problem opening it on your device. Try installing this 'File Viewer for Android' app, exr files are in its list of supported file types:

If this is a matter where you want to manipulate/edit/alter an exr file, you might want to just convert it to a jpg, tiff, png, whatever. This online file conversion site states it supports exr files:
