Open Home Icon question

Hi,

Being relatively new to Android world (Froyo 2.2), I'm still playing around with it. Just downloaded Open Home and like the extra display options as opposed to the standard Launcher. The only thing I'm not keen on are the rather dull looking grey icons that seem to accompany some apps (specifically the YouTube, Camera and Gallery ones).

Is there a way I can change these back to the original launcher icons as they looked much nicer?

Then it'll all be tickety boo! :)

Hop in the android market and search for open home themes. There are tons of them and they'll help you personalize your Open Home experience.

Also a nice app to have with Open Home is BetterCut. BetterCut lets you choose your own icons for home screen shortcuts.
 
Thanks for the reply. I had a look at that before, but was hoping there was a free way of doing it as the icons I want must already be on the phone!
Guess I'll try some packs and see if anything suits then! :)

Also, LauncherPro is free from the market and lets you set the dockbar as well as custom screen icons. ADW EX does also but it's a paid app.
 
Thanks again. I tried AnyCut but couldn't get it to work. Can't figure out why most icons stayed the same but the ones I mentioned were changed. Found it a bit annoying in the end and went back to the standard launcher (which, in fairness, works perfectly well).
I had a look at Launcher Pro but deleted it for space purposes. Might bin Open Home and have another look! :)

I haven't used Open Home in quite a while. Does it have an option somewhere to "use theme icons"? If so you may be able to uncheck that option and go back to the default icons while preserving the rest of the theme.
 
No, just had a good rummage and couldn't see such a thing! Unless I've missed it, but I don't think so.../:
