OpenOffice for Android

Open Office is essentially dead. I expect no further development at all. LibreOffice is the replacement for it, forked by former OO developers who quit when Sun sold it. LibreOffice for PC has been available for some time, and an Android version is being developed. A preliminary prototype has been shown, but no release date has been given. I think it will be well worth the wait.

Looking for an Excel app that can do ALL spreadsheet requirement (including percentages etc). Any help or am I in the wrong spot.

Thanks

Sam

LibreOffice will be the best solution for Android if it's released. Until that I suggest you using ThinkOffice, it's a quite good suite for Android.

It could get ported, I mean it's technically feasible, but as others have pointed out, I'm not sure what the motivation would be. Most people really aren't going to be doing any kind of typing or spread sheet stuff on their phone, and even if they did, Google would probably push them towards Docs before a locally installed piece of software.
The tsblets sure could use Open or Libre.
