Opera Mobile?

Does anyone know if Opera is developing a version for Android? I don't mind the current browser but its not really that great. Opera has the best mobile browser available and I'd really like to see it on my G1.

I haven't tried it myself. But I might one day, just to compare the browsers.

I tried that but I can't seem to get it to run.

But thats from back in April, so I'm sure they are working on a newer version.
