Opera VPN

Just looking for people views on Opera VPN app. I tried it today and it seems pretty good, never used a VPN before so have nothing to compare it too tho!

So what are the risks or benefits of using this VPN? Clearly you can visit sites that your network my not allow you to visit.

Well Opera is now Chinese owned(Qihoo), and their VPN app is pretty much useless here as a VPN. When using can't visit sites not allowed to visit, e.g. Google.

I used Opera for years, don't use their stuff at all now.

Oh interesting. Seems odd that a Chinese company would take on a VPN app that allows people to circumnavigate site blocks.

So this app does not work at all in China then? Would figure...
