opinion needed:- which uses more power, 3G or Wifi on androids?

reason I ask as most things Ie email and rss updates, im not to bothered on how fast i get them so I would be happy just to use GPRS as most new devices have the top class of the 2.5G stuff.

Then i can just use 3G for apps and browsing....

my current phone last TWICE as long with 3G turned off as I dont have an android yet....

I think WiFi consumes much more battery than 3G ,

My battery seems to go like nothing when I'm using WiFi but is pretty efficient on 3G
