Help Opinions external battery vs. beefing up internal

Ok, I notice alot of conversation regarding hyperion batteries, sorry for if I misspelled. I'm lucky I guess that I carry a purse so I really don't have to add extra weight to my phone or turn it off to change a battery, I just carry an external 6600 boropower dual connector for emergencies(0.6a or 2a) So my question is from experts if possible. Is this a bad way to charge? My husband seemed scared to charge his device with it, I'm not harming my precious am I??? Does it really matter where you get your charge from???

Yes and no. In theory, these devices are fine. The quality can be an issue. Cheap and poorly regulated devices cab damage what they're charging but good, reputable ones are fine.

I have no experience with any of them however so I don't know which yours is

I use a 6600 mAH IOGear pack for my S3. You aren't going to hurt anything with a battery pack from a reputable source.
