Opinions on GiffGaff? (UK carrier)

Hi, not sure if this is the right place to post this as im new here. Just wanted everyone to have an opportunity to get what i feel is the best network at the moment :) i got an android and I was worried about my data usage, so did a little research on here and found a network called giffgaff. As far as I know, its run by ex o2 employees and so far is the only network ive seen whos unlimited internet is actually unlimited. Feel free to go on the website and research a bit to see if it matches your needs :) (Free SIM cards with Unlimited Texts & Unlimited Internet - giffgaff).

So, is anyone currently with giffgaff? i havent been there for long so havent experienced any problems yet. What do you think guys?

I've been with them for a few weeks now. Very impressed so far and cheap as chips!!!

:D

I've been with them since September, as you can tell from my sig ;)

I think the concept is great and I've not had any real problems directly, but I suppose I am used to using forums for support. I have seen many members frustrated by their support model but I suspect these are people who are not used to getting support from forums. The only problem there though is that there is only so much support that can be given before you need to look at a users account and to do that a paid staff member needs to be contacted of which there doesn't seem to be too many of them.

The only slight problem I do have is the lack of an itemised bill, not essential but nice to have. I was told on the support forum that I could request an itemized bill from the helpdesk but when trying to request one I was told it was not possible.

Bottom line is, if your O2 reception is good (they use the O2 network) and you prefer to buy your phone outright then it's a very good deal.
