Optical Character Recognition app?

I've been doing some digging to no avail, so I need some help. Does anyone know of an optical character recognition (OCR) app? That's the thing where you can take a picture of text and the software converts the words in the image to editable text. I found one called DocScanner, but it has a ton of 1 Star votes and complaints of crashing, and lack of developer support. And from what I've seen, it doesn't make the text editable, it just slaps it into a PDF file.

Anyone know of a good OCR app?

As offline OCR reader there are only business card reader for Android as I know.

But I saw online OCR readers for Android, but don't remember a name.
Mybe you should look for general OCR cloud readers and then look which have a Android app.

If you want something that will reliably OCR substantial amounts of text (more than a business card, say), desktop is still the way to go. Abbyy Finereader will accept images from various sources, including cameras - I expect other major OCR packages will also, but don't know for sure.
