Optimus f3 vs Optimus f6?

So I am choosing between the two phones, f3 or f6. So far only think I can tell is the f6 is a bigger screen. Specs look similar. I don't mind the 4" on the f3, and it's 149.

Anyone have an opinion?

I got tired if the iPhone, I want a android again. I had the lg spirit and motion before.

It's only $50 more for a considerably larger screen.

I think the batteries larger too.

IMO $50 for the much larger screen is a no brainer.

EDIT; IMO the F6 will be very similar to the Spirit. Which suits me just fine.

I just got home after a visit to my local store, and the man I spoke to likes the F6 over the other mid-range offerings. $199, and you can pay it off interest-free in 6 months if you like. Bigger screen than my Admire, and a total of 5GB of internal memory (1.3 available to user, according to PhoneScoop). I think I might get this phone when the time is right (on sale and a reliable root method available).

Spec-wise they're basically the same phone except for the larger display and IR function on the F6. Not sure how the battery life will compare, since they have the same size battery so the larger screen might take more juice.
As you note there is only 1.2 GB available for user storage, forget about that 5GB number. So same as the F3.
If the larger display is that important to you, go with the F6. Personally I like the smaller size phone and don't need a big screen so I'm fine with the F3. I won't be slapping my head because I just bought it and now the F6 came out.
As for root, I would expect that Motochopper will work to root the F6 just as it does the F3.

Fox, thanks for the info. I'm hoping that the bigger screen will ease the pain on these old-man eyeballs...

;)

Why are you skipping L9 may I ask? Its a nice phone with 4.7inch screen. All 3 phones are good. I went with f3 cause I don't like bulky phones.

Thanks for the replies.

I ended up getting the f3, the screen size is fine. Im really liking this phone so far.
I was adding that phone to a family plan. Went to best buy mobile and got a bundle discount $169 out the door with activation. The dealer wanted to charge a little more $233 or so, they told me they couldnt put the phone on 40$ plan only 60$ plan. Glad i went to get a second opinion.

I'm generally very happy with my F3. Battery life is a killer deal, it takes 5-6 hours to kill it browsing.

For anyone else considering the f6 for screen size, I forgot which battery it has but I have an f7 and the battery is doing better than I was afraid it might. It's lasting about 8 hours with intermittent heavy use and standby is over a day with a couple of hours of heavy use included.

Just got the F6 , the led color light on the home button alone is worth the xtra dogh , PLEASE SOMEONE FIND A ROOT FOR IT - - !@@!
