I figured this sort of question has been asked a lot, so I did a forum search for Optimus F7 under accessories, and it came up with nothing, so I'll ask my question here:
I am looking for a case for my LG Optimus F7.
The style I am looking for is this right here:
A soft case, bound by a hard shell, that slips into a belt clip holster.
When I first bought this Optimus F7, I bought a case off of ebay. It was so perfect I couldn't imagine a better case.
Well, after almost a year, the belt clip portion broke. So I ordered a new one, and this was completely different.
The soft rubber part was too soft. It was really thin and flimsy and felt like a latex glove. The old one was thicker, stronger, more gritty, it felt like the rubber that tires are made from, but maybe a more gritty like sandpaper.
That's not the only part that bothers me.
The belt-clip / holster grips the phone really tight.
I don't remember the name of the company I bought from in either case. Though I think this new one that I don't like, I think it came from My.Carbon. But there is a small chance that was the first one, the one I really liked.
Neither of the cases have a name or a number or any identifying information.
Searching the web for another replacement is difficult because most sellers aren’t manufacturers, and they won't tell you who the manufacturer is, they just say 3-in-1 Optimus F7 case, or due Armour Optimus F7 case.
So I'd be willing to buy 2 or three different cases of this type, if I could be guarantee I am not buying 3 duplicates of what I already have.
I'm not even expecting to get the exact manufacturer of the one I like, but if I could just find an equivalent, if I could just order a few, and rule out them being perfect duplicates.

Here we have the audio ports closed off by a flap. This is actually a good thing, but none-the-less, it is absent on the case I like.

And the same with the USB port, it is closed off by a flap (again, this is a good feature, but absent on the case I like).

On the left is the bad case, the felt covers the entire front of the belt clip portion.
On the good case, the felt is smaller.

Notice on the black one (good one) that the volume controls are round and have a plus and minus symbol on them.
The other one just two rectangles.
So really what bothers me about the bad case is the super flimsy soft covering portion, and the fact it is so hard to separate it from the belt clip. You can't just grip with one hand and pull the phone out; you have to use one hand to steady the belt-clip holster, and the other to wiggle the phone out. I look ridiculous trying to get my phone out, I look like I am having a wrestling match with some creature in my pocket.
So based on those visual differences, can anybody tell me where I might be able to find the good case that I like so much? Or at least another manufacturer that has better quality than the blue one I am having such troubles with.
