Help orange san francisco...unlocked now on 3...need it to be 3g i cant get 3g help...a novice

Hi i have a orange san francisco, which ive unlocked so i an put my contract 3 sim in..but when out and about i cannot get any 3g signal so i can use the internet outside....please help..ps im a newbie sorry if this ends up in the wrong place

You'll need to change your APN settings. Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> Mobile Networks (UMTS or APN or something). Then press Menu, then add APN.

No idea what the 3 settings are though, you'll either need to have a google, or give them a call to find out.
