Help Orange UK Users with the 1.28 update

Can you tell me what Radio it comes with? (Settings -> About Phone -> Software Information -> More -> Baseband Version).

Also, are you experiencing the WiFi disconnects mentioned here: wifi goes sleep even setting policy to "Always On" - xda-developers

tl;dr version:

1) Phone must be OFF the charger
2) It only happens during night times (12am-7am or something weird huh?)
3) It also happens to mobile data (mob data gets disconnected during those hours and when OFF the charger)
4) You must leave your phone's screen off for about 20mins -30mins to experience it

My baseband version is 1.1204.103.14 I've never had any problems with wifi, even when I was on 1.26 software.

Anyone else on that radio having issues or were having issues before the update?

I'm wondering if it's worth returning to stock to accept the OTA/Radio upgrade to see if it sorts the WiFi issues.

sorry el prez, same with nasal here, no wifi issues so far.

just curious, but are your wifi issues purely with 1 wifi access point?

Unfortunately no. I've tried 2 routers at home and both routers do the same. I'll also lose connection if connected to the router at work too.

Oh dear, I've just upgraded with orange direct, perhaps I should avoid updating if your having these issues?

It should be ok, it's not every device and for some reason, it only happens between 11PM & 7AM (as weird as that sounds).

I'm on a custom ROM and both Nasalhair & Eddie are using the stock Orange software and they're not experiencing any issues.

There's a fix for the WiFi issue on XDA at the moment, but you need root to sort: xda-developers - View Single Post - wifi goes sleep even setting policy to "Always On"
