Organizing Contact Help Please?

I just recently got an android phone. And my contacts are a mess. It has all my facebook friends and then it has all my phone numbers. So there are duplicates when I have someones number and they are also my friend on facebook. I just pretty much need help organizing my contacts. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

So you have the same contact twice? Once for phone and once for facebook? Click on the phone entry, then in the top right click the Link button, then link it to the facebook. You will need to do this for all of your contacts that have both, but once you do you are done.

What I found to work best was to open contacts hit menu then view and make sure you are not viewing SIM contacts.

Then Import you SIM contacts to phone memory. Go into your Gmail or Google Contacts and update/merge all contacts there.

Once done, go back to your phone Contacts/Menu/View and Check only "Google" Then you can go in with your phone a link up all the Facebook profiles that didn't sync automatically.

Sounds like a lot of trouble but it's really not bad. This is what I found best to work for me anyways.
