Oruxmaps / Mobile Atlas Creator

Hi, I'm having a few problems with this. Been trying to create a map and put it on to my HTC Legend but I'm having the following problems.


In Mobile Atlas Creator , I am to pick Oruxmaps from settings to make it compatible with Oruxmaps but it's not on the list of options.


Oruxmaps is meant to create directories where I should put maps. Default setting is /sdcard/oruxmaps/mapfiles/

I can't find that on the SD card. I tried to make my own folder called oruxmaps and changed the directory setting but Oruxmaps won't open it.

No idea what's going on.

That looks SO complicated!

I suggest you look at BCN.

It uses online maps and ready-made offline street and topo maps for the US, Canada and most of the world. It lets you add waypoints and create tracks. What more could you ask?
