OS Atlas lite (uk)

Hi all

I do alot of cycling and rambling etc. Looking for a good OS app. Recently got OS atlas lite. This is a really great app but always relies on downloading map data. Lots of the places I go will not have a 3G signal so I need to cache map data before I set off. I have just found an enable cache option and ticked it. It still seems to be downloading map data. in a few weeks I will need to rely on this app when I go up North Yorkshire. Anyone used this or any other OS map app?

Cheers guys

Have a look at Mobile Atlas Creater - this allows you to downloads maps (including OS, Google, OSM) on the PC for offline use with various mobile mapping apps (including rmaps, Maverick, AlpineQuest, trekbuddy (and a few others).
Takes a bit of effort, but once you have the map it allows total offline use, rather than relying on cached data.

That's what I'm after. I'll sort that when I'm next at the computer. Thanks

Hi

Finally got round to having a go at this and made a map. A bit of trial and error. Where do you put the maps on your SD card?
