Root OS Freeze Problem

So about a month ago my indulge started doing something really awkward. It freezes the whole OS and boots up again. This happens if I open the keyboard before unlocking the screen, or sometimes randomly or when i lock the screen. Anyone have any idea or had this issue? What should I do to fix it? BTW I'm running Basix with ES. I had this setup since ES came out and now it started doing this. Glad if someone could help bc this is really annoying.

just did it, after a long boot time like 15 minutes it started, but it didnt fix it. Should I use odin to go back to stock and redo everything?

How do I wipe the cache? I have Android Froyo 2.3.3 OS on HTC phone and I simply don't know what to do anymore with the phone. It freezes every time after start up. (sometimes working 5 to 10 minutes b4 crashing ) A friend told me that this happened b/c I had done a software update which I shouldn't have done.
