OTA OS updates for S7 / S7Edge

Does anyone know when 3 are going to rollout any updates, be it 4.4.4 or i guess now more likely Lollipop? It seems too long to be stuck on 4.4.2 on a flagship device! Maybe they are waiting for the bug fix release for Lollipop before committing to it. Why are carriers so tardy when it comes to updates! annoyed.

Just received a 330MB update on my S5 OTA, but it's still v5.0 so looks like a security/bug fix update only for the original rom. On a plus side i have the mute option back, yay.

Edited: yes its the BOB7 rom.
