OTA Update Question.

I recently bought an Unlocked MyTouch 3G. Its branded with T-Mobile to the front of the phone, however I use my local Sim card in it and it works fine.
This morning I got up, turned it on and saw that an Update had been downloaded and ready to install. The update doesnt change the OS version (currently on 1.6) it says it will only improve phone reception.
My question is, if I do this update, will the phone be re-locked to T-Mobile.
Should I be worried about this?

Ok, I did the update (couldn't wait for someone to reply, lol ) and the phone remained unlocked, just to let you guys know.
Can't wait for an update to 2.1 though!!!!
