OTG cable question

Ok, I know you can connect a wired xbox 360 controller to your android via a OTG cable and nothing else is required. Also I know with a wireless 360 controller you can get an adaptor. My question is if you have a charging cord for you wireless controller (for your rechargeable battery). That connects to your 360 via usb. Can you just plug that in to your OTG cable? Im just being cheap and dont want to buy a wired 360 controller if I dont need to. I would just test this myself but I just bought the OTG cable and it is currently being shipped to me.

The cable for the 360 is just a charging cable, so it wouldn't work (if you're asking what I think you're asking), the wireless controller still communicates wirelessly even when it's plugged in.

Unless things have changed, I could never get it to work. To test you could try it on a OF and see if the controller is registered when plugged in.

Yeah that makes sense. I thought about buying a Moga controller. But connecting with a controller via Bluetooth worries me. Just heard it's not as responsive, especially on games that require a lot of button inputing quickly. So I will order a wired controller on Amazon or ebay. Thanks for your input

Cool beans :)

Fwiw, I've never had any issues using an old sixaxis controller paired via Bluetooth and I've used it on a few devices so if the moga is cheaper, you might want to try that?
