Other forum(Not for me)

My friend said that he was looking for another forum that he can use. I'd obviously recommend that he join this one, but he doesn't have an Android equipped device. He said one that he could chat and offer tech support. He's basically a computer guru. No matter what, I'm staying here because I love this place so much, but, I'm asking for his sake. And hell, this is a place I can ask questions that I'm not able to correctly word to ask the almighty masters at Google.

I'd still tell him to come here, you never know, it may convince him to get an android device.

Yes, tell him to come here anyway. I'm sure his computer knowledge would be useful to people here, even if he isn't able to help them fix Android specific PC related issues.

As far as other forums, if you are talking about Tech forums, I would recommend :

Welcome to nV News - An NVIDIA Fansite (all computer hardware/software/games, but focuses on Nvidia)
Rage3D (same as above but focuses on ATI)
[H]ard|OCP - HardOCP Computer Hardware Reviews and News (all things PC related)
XtremeSystems Inc (Enthusiast site, high end hardware, extreme overclocking -Worlds best overclockers post here, such as Kingpin and Shamino)

All are great sites. I don't care for Kyle at HardOCP (or his benchmarking methods), but the forums are great.

Those sites mentioned above are pretty good. There seems to be a little bit of everything going on here so this isn't a bad place to end up. Ask him to make an account here to introduce himself. He'll either find a nice home or tell you that you need better online friends.
